Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital opened in June 2009 and is home to state-of-the-art facilities that have been designed with its young patients very much in mind.

Based in Manchester city centre we treat over 240,000 children every year, from Cumbria down to Stoke-On-Trent and as far as North Wales

For our specialist services this reach can extend across the whole of the UK and even internationally

With 371 beds we are the largest single-site children’s hospital in the countryThe hospital is a national centre of excellence for:

Bone marrow transplantation, for which it is the main centre outside of London

Burns treatment - the hospital houses the largest paediatric burns unit in the country

Critical care – the hospital’s paediatric intensive care unit is the largest in the country, looking after patients ranging from new-born babies to 16-year-olds (sometimes even older)

The Charity supports the hospital in three main areas: Treatment, Care and Research. The NHS can only provide so much – the charity goes the extra mile to provide those added extras. These extras can range from state-of-the-art pieces of equipment to the creation of child-friendly areas which are less clinical and more comfortable, all the way to pioneering research at our world-renowned Children’s Clinical Research Facility.

Most importantly, we treat your customers and your employees’ children. We’re a charity which offer tangible benefits and full transparency by funding projects which directly affect those closest to you throughout the local region.
