The cancer story is changing. Four million people are expected to be living with or beyond cancer in 2030 – which means the need for our work is set to increase dramatically. Thanks to our loyal and committed supporters, over 98% of our income in 2012 came from voluntary donations and fundraising, so we take care to manage our money wisely.
We provide high quality, up-to-date cancer information for cancer patients, their families and carers. All of our information is written and reviewed by specialists.

Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed, you need a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way.

"Usain BOAT!!"
A picture of the "Captain Crowther and his Merry Men" dragon boat team will be posted here after the festival
"So we did it!!
We completed the Salford Dragon Boat Festival race and finished in 6th place out of 23 teams.
Well done to the winners of the sweepstake Neil Worthington & Kerry Stoneley who picked out ‘Everyone miraculously stays dry’…. Somehow we managed it!!!
From a fund raising perspective we have raised £400 on our Just Giving page and £56 from sweepstake (Worthy thanks for generously donating your winnings), plus donations on sponsorship forms sent round the office still to be counted so we expect this to be around £500+ in total for Macmillan.
The whole team would like to thank everyone that supported us with donations and turning up to support us on the day despite the bad weather!"
