Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Our vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives.

As a national charity we have offices across the UK in Cheshire, Cumbria, East and West London and Buckinghamshire. In addition, we can offer a series of booked phone sessions for parents or carers, living anywhere in the UK.

At our office in Runcorn we offer free support and information to bereaved children, young people (aged 0-25) and their families within the locality and surrounding areas including:
  • Face to face support sessions for children, young people and their families, either as a family group or individually.
  • Family groups that allows bereaved families to get together. Children aged 4 to 12 can meet other bereaved children with their adult carers and express their feelings through play and creative activities in facilitated groups.
    • Group sessions for young people that encourages young people aged 11 – 25 to meet up and work together in a supportive environment on creative projects about what they think, in their experience, helps young people who are grieving.
